Lisgar is tucked away in the northwest part of Mississauga. It runs parallel with Highway 407. It is bordered on the south by Churchill Meadows and Meadowvale on the East.

In recent years, Lisgar has become a very popular family neighbourhood and has seen many young families settling in this area.  One of the reasons for this is the affordability of homes in the area, the great public schools, and convenience of transportation.. Lisgar is a very quiet neighbourhood with beautiful picturesque streets.

Lisgar has a number of great amenities for families…including lots of parks, along with quality schools… it is a great area for first time buyers looking for their family home.

Despite the great influx of families moving to Lisgar prices have jumped in t he past year, but it is still one of the most affordable neighbourhoods for families wanting to move up to a larger home, or for first time home buyers. Lisgar offers a mix of style, consisting of detached, semi-detached, and town homes. If affordability is an important factor when looking for your next home, Lisgar is a neighbourhood you should consider.

Most homes in Lisgar are 20 years old and under and are typically 2 storey in design, with 3 bedrooms, 2-3 baths, with the typical layout design you would expect from homes built in the 1990’s. The neighbourhood is comprised of first time home buyers starting a family, young professional, and and some original home owners that purchased when the homes were first built.
